Dao, Qi, Xiang, Xing, and Qi Help Identify Certain Patterns Associated with Specific Imbalances.

Welcome to My Blog!!!

Chinese medicine is guided by the concepts of space, time, and direction. Dao, Qi, Xiang, Xing, and Qi help identify certain patterns associated with specific imbalances and diseases. Patterns are known to occur before symptoms can arise. Identifying the patterns with the help of energetics can help prevent illness and rebalance the patterns, therefore, preventing disease and further imbalances. Dao is defined as the materials that form matter. It is not an object; it is understood through cosmological thought. Qi is associated with movement and direction. Xiang is associated with a symbol that allows one to realize that the energetics known as the Dao and Qi are connected to the material world associated with the Xing and Qi. Xing is associated with the space that something is built upon, such as the foundation of any material object. Qi is defined as a vessel that holds the Dao. Dao is having many thoughts but not knowing which one to use. The Qi gives life to the Dao, opening a door for the idea to expand in a specific direction. From there, Xiang helps combine the energetic idea and material world to make the idea become a reality through the Xing and Qi by developing a foundation for which the idea can be built upon to provide a vessel for the Dao. Using the same ideas to identify patterns of the body are used to determine imbalances in the body (Eues, 2017)
